Photo Review "Woodworking-2009"
The 16th international specialized fair for timber, woodworking and furniture equipment ‘Woodworking – 2009’ has started its work in Minsk.
Jointly with ‘Woodworking – 2009’ the international specialized fair ‘Furniture. Design. Components – 2009’ has been organized. Within the frames of ‘Furniture. Design. Components – 2009’ a national exposition of Turkish companies has been demonstrated.
Companies from Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, France, Poland and Switzerland exhibited at the fairs.
Italian Woodworking Machinery and Tool Manufacturers Association ACIMALL and Spanish Woodworking Machinery, Tools and Products Manufactures Association AFEMMA have become participants of the fair.
Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Semashko has opened the fair. Mr. Semashko has emphasized the importance of the fair in the period of global financial crisis.
Though the exposition of the fair has reduced, compared to the previous ‘Woodworking – 2009’ fair, but it has gathered every representative of Belorussian tool, equipment and machinery for woodworking and furniture industry.
The urgent issue - waste wood application in power engineering - has been discussed at the fair. A wide exposition of woodworking products – boards, doors, windows etc. has been demonstrated.
On Tuesday, 15.09.2009, the seminar ‘Modern Technologies of Energy saving Wooden Windows Production’ has been organized within the frames of the fairs.
