18th International Specialized Exhibition of equipment and technologies for timber, woodworking and furniture industries successfully gains momentum. After small decline now it reaches 2008-year level by the number of participants and size of the exhibit area and confirms the status of the largest industry exhibition in the country. In total, there will be about 120 exhibitors from 13 countries: Belarus, Austria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain. The participants will present the wide range of woodworking machinery of key world companies, starting with the equipment for the primary sawing and wood drying and finishing with the automated machining centers and production lines for furniture manufacture.
The same as last year there will be a large-scale exhibition of German companies presented under the aegis of the Federal Ministry of Economics & Technology (BMWi) ) in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) supported by VDMA - German Engineering Federation German Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers' Association covering a wide range of industrial equipment, tools, components and materials.
Each year the problem of refuse wood utilization in power engineering attracts more and more attention because of the problem relevance to find alternative energy sources. That is why the Specialized Salon "Bioenergy" is being organized within the frames of the exhibition. Its thematic content is devoted to the bio-fuel production and incineration technologies: solid wood fuel production (pellets, briquettes), biogas and liquid biofuels (bioethanol, biodiesel), peat, renewable energy sources, biomass, bioprocesses.
